As the new year rolls in at Ortman Farms, there's a sense of renewed energy and anticipation in the air. This time of year is certainly special, as the work of the past meets the promise of the future, and each day brings us closer to reaping the season's rewards.
With the parts on the John Deere Combine replaced and ready for action, we're set to charge ahead and finish harvesting the remaining fields of corn. The golden kernels that sway in the winter breeze will soon be transformed into cornmeal, a symbol of hard work and resilience.
It's especially satisfying knowing that the grain we've carefully grown will go directly to feeding our dairy cows, beef cows, and hogs. There's a deep sense of pride in being able to nourish our livestock with our own farm-grown feed, completing the cycle from seed to plate and ensuring that everything we've worked for comes full circle.

Business Development Rep with high-earning potential!
Lead and manage the business development for Ortman Farms retail store. Position requires you to be an excellent communicator, self-starter, self-managed team member to bring in new customer sales and service our existing customer base. Seeking someone who is eager to jump right in, with an entrepreneurial spirit to grow the Ortman Farms retail business. Commission-based position with no cap on earning potential. Previous sales experience is preferred, but not required. Applicants must have a reliable vehicle to drive for local in-person door knocking sales calls and be able to utilize digital sales/payment apps. This position is looking for someone that can start off working a minimum of three days a week, ideally Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, however flexibility with days and hours can be discussed.
